Safari Rangers bird watching tours to Kruger National Park Tours are for couples and groups of birders who are looking at flying into South Africa over a weekend, bird watch during the week and then fly out the following weekend. Our birding tour product is very much all about enjoying up to a week’s worth of concentrated bird watching in the North of Kruger Park with everything laid on – perfect!
Eagles are common: Bateleur, Martial, Black-chested Snake, Brown Snake, African Hawk, African Fish, and Tawny are all regularly seen and in the summer months: Wahlberg’s, Steppe, Lesser Spotted.
It makes sense for any ‘birder’ who is ready to enjoy bird watching in Africa, to visit South Africa and head straight for the Northern regions of Kruger Park on one of our exciting guided birding tours.

DAY 01|  Johannesburg: Arrival

 

Upon your arrival at Johannesburg airport, you will be welcomed by our representative. Proceed to check-in at The Aviator or Tambo International. Get over the fatigue from your journey by enjoying the day at your leisure followed by a refreshing overnight stay at the hotel.

Optional: Visit Gold Reef City or hop on the Red city bus tour for Johannesburg (own arrangement)

Distance: 1.6 km

Travel Time: 5 minutes

 

DAY 02|Johannesburg: Visit the Lion Par

 

After a scrumptious breakfast prepares to explore and undertake the most remarkably thrilling tour of the Lion Park, which is one of the best vacation places in Johannesburg. Following a unique experience of walking among the lions, return back to enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 03| Kruger: Leisure Day

 

After a hearty breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed for your journey to Kruger. Meet our local travel representative and check into the hotel. Relax your muscles or enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep in the hotel.

DAY 04|    Kruger National Park: Safari of the African wildlife

 

After a healthy breakfast, get ready for a full day safari in Kruger and witness the African wildlife as seen nowhere else on earth, as you safari through the Kruger National Park. Home to the Big Five, it offers the chance to see these majestic creatures in their natural habitat; an experience that cannot be missed.

Afterward, traverse the park’s rugged terrain in an open safari vehicle and begin a remarkable journey into the wondrous wildlife of Africa. Keep an eye on your beautiful surroundings and you might get a chance to see a herd of elephants grazing or a rhino hiding in the tall grasses.

The alluring sights of the animals and landscapes in Kruger will leave you with memories that last a lifetime. Return to the hotel to enjoy the evening.

DAY 05|  Kruger: Night Safari

After breakfast, the day will be spent in leisure at the hotel. In the evening meet Africa’s nightlife when you set out in an open 4×4 Game Drive just before sunset. After the sun goes down and the night falls, use spotlights to look for elusive nocturnal animals. Return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

 

DAY 06|   Johannesburg: Departure

 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Johannesburg Airport. The re-energizing experience of connecting with nature comes to an end, leaving you with cherishable memories.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

Cancellation stage: 21 days or more before departure.
25% of the package cost will be charged as penalty on cancellation 21 days before departure
Cancellation stage: 15 to 20 days before departure.
50% of the package cost will be charged as penalty on cancellation between 11 to 20 days before departure
Cancellation stage: 07 to 15 days or less before departure.
75% of the package cost will be charged as penalty on cancellation 07 to 14 days before departure
Cancellation stage: 7 days or less 24 Hrs before departure.
100% of the package cost will be charged as penalty on cancellation 10 days before departure

For all Domestic / International Flights we will comply with airline cancellation policy.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Pay 50% amount in advance of the total invoice to confirm the booking.
All payments have to be clear 30 days prior to the date departure.
International tickets will be issued within 24 hours from the time of advance payment.(Except Saturday &
Sunday)

Booking voucher and final itinerary will be provided 7 day prior to departure.
IML travel will not be responsible for any change in flight schedule and cancellation without prior intimation. The guests must reconfirm the flight schedule at-least 03 Nights prior to the date of departure.
IML travel acts just as an agent between the airlines and the traveler, we are not responsible for the check-in services like web check-in. If a guest wishes to do the web check-in they must visit the website of the respective airlines and follow the procedure.
All tours involving less than 10 Persons will be considered as FIT or individual tour.
All tours involving more than 10 Persons will be considered as group tour.
Any monument, activity entry-pass/ passes, Guide Services are not included in individual tour packages, unless specifically mentioned in the inclusions.
All transfers are as per itinerary, in the event of guests not turning up at the pick-up point there is no provision of alternative transfer service. In this case guest may request for supplementary transport which will be charged extra. These services can be availed depending on the availability.
Full Day tours starts at 0900 Hrs till 1700 Hrs (Maximum 8 Hours).
Half Day tours starts at 0900 Hrs till 1300 Hrs OR at 1200 Hrs till 1600 Hrs (Maximum 4 hrs)

Rate is based on the above mentioned number of travelers, in case there is an increase or decrease in the number of persons or change of date, IML Travel keeps the right to change its rates accordingly.

IML Travel shall not be responsible for partial or complete non-performance of It’s obligations hereunder as a result of the impact of circumstances beyond their control and unforeseeable, for example, fire, flood, earthquake, hurricane and other natural calamities, Political unrest epidemics, military and actions of authorities (“Force Majeure”). Under such circumstances, the period for fulfillment of obligations hereunder shall be extended for the period the conditions referred to above persist.
