Pushkar Lake or Pushkar Sarovar is a sacred lake of Hindus which flows in the city of Pushkar, Rajasthan.

 

Not to mention, 52 Ghats surrounds this lake where pilgrims gather to take a bath in the sacred lake. Moreover, over 500 Hindu temples are situated around the lake.

 

Pushkar Lake is full of rich marine and other aquatic life.

 

Interesting fact about Pushkar Lake:

 

Man eating crocodiles used to stay in the Pushkar Lake which resulted in deaths of people. Moreover, when British people came to know about this scenario, they immediately took out all the crocodiles and shifted them to a nearby reservoir.
