Welcome to Kolkata “City of joy”!

 

Your walking tour of kolkata begins in the morning; you will be welcomed by our representative on board a luxury A/c vehicle at your hotel, who will take you to the starting point of your tour Great Eastern Hotel. Upon arrival our representative will guide you about the tour schedule of this 3Hr day tour. Start your walking from the India’s one of the oldest hotel The great eastern hotel, on the way explore the magnificent creations and the architecture of the landmarks. First visit to Government House (Raj Bhavan), residence of the governer of Bengal. Continue your tour and move ahead for St. John’s Church, which houses the grave of Job Charnock, and the Black Hole Memorial (a controversial episode in Calcutta’s history), after that proceed to Lal Dighi which is a water tank but in the British time it was the city square. Continue your tour and visit another attractions of the tour The General Post Office, Writer’s building, St. Andrew Kirk. Later take a turn to the old currency building and after that move back to the starting point of the tour Great eastern hotel for a high tea/coffee with snacks.
