It’s pretty much of a surprise.. India and nude beaches don’t go hand in hand. Also, you will be arrested and fined for it. But c’mon! Times have changed. India is evolving enough to have nude beaches. You will be surprised to know that nude beaches do exist in India but not everyone really knows about them.

Here is a list of Unexplored Nude Beaches in India.

Marari Beach, Kerala

Kerala isn’t just home to stunning backwaters, it also has a hidden nude beaches in India. The Marari Beach is quite secluded and untouched and you can relax and enjoy a suntan on its soft sand in the buff. Since this beach is isolated, you will not find too many people around so going nude wouldn’t be a problem. It is extremely beautiful, and completely isolated – making it an even more perfect hideaway for those looking to not have to hide their bodies.

Paradise Beach, Gokarna

This one’s a hidden nude beach because it is not accessible easily and you can only reach here by boat. But you’ll really need some convincing skills before a boatman agrees to take you here — the reason being, the hippies who love to sunbathe here in the nude. In a place mostly inaccessible from land (and boatmen too shy to take you there), one can possibly still find groups of people in the buff enjoying the lazy sun. But Paradise Beach is one of the most amazing beaches with clear blue waters and soft sand.

Agatti Island Beach, Lakshadweep

Rich in coral reef and lagoons, this beach is covered with coconut and palm trees. Celebrated for its scenic beauty, this beach has more than natural marvels on offer. This one is known as a topless beach but you will also find complete nudists as well. The beach’s untouched beauty will take your breath away. You may require special permission to visit this island so make sure you look into that before you plan a trip here.

Om Beach, Gokarna

Graced with two freshwater springs and exceptional red cliffs, Gokarna’s Om beach is shaped like ‘Om’. is another absolutely stunning place visited often by tourists looking to get an even tan – unrestricted by swimwear. Though this beach is quite popular and has water sports activities as well, it is also known as a nude beach to get a suntan. You’d find people lying in the buff but be careful as it is still illegal in India.

Ozran Beach, Goa

This lesser known Goan beach may not be the easiest find, but it is so worth the extra mile. Its magnificent vistas, clean sand and exotic vibe will make you forget you are in the over-commercialised and crowded Goa. This beach is known for its hippie, nude crowd. Mostly thronged by foreigners, you will have to climb a hill to get here. It is not too far away from Anjuna and Vagator and is relatively clean and secluded than most beaches in Goa.
