Abu Road is the nearest railway station (28 kms away).  It is well connected with the major cities like Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Mumbai.

1. Dilwara Jain Temples

They are located 2.5 kms outside of mount Abu. Why do people visit here in large number?

Because of its brilliant marble work.

Fact: the temple’s ornamental carvings and stone laying makes it one of the most beautiful pilgrimage spot in the world.

What to Expect? / Tips

 

  • You must visit Moun Abu in the winter months as the weather is very pleasant. Summer heat is very draining, so it’s important to take measures to avoid getting dehydrated (if you visit in the hottest months).
  • Holi and diwali are two major festivals of India. So if you wish to experience Holi, then you must visit in the month of March and similarly, for Diwali or Deepawali, visit in the month of Octover-November.
  • Rajasthani Food is very spicy and flavorful, so if you have any disease or are allergic to spices, just beware.
