Lotus Temple -Timings and Entry Fees, Architecture | Monuments in Delhi

Originally, Lotus temple was a Baha’i House of Worship built for all religions and faiths.

Fariborz Sahba, a Persian architect from Canada built this temple after taking inspiration from the lotus flower.

 

Not only this, Lotus Temple is scattered all over the world i.e. Australia, Frankfurt, Germany, Panama City, USA, Uganda etc.

 

This white marble structure is one of the most visited places in New Delhi. In fact, more than 10,000 visitors visit this temple on a daily basis.

 

Also, there are around nine water pools around the petal structure which is accentuated with beautiful lights.

Visiting Hours: 9am-5:30pm, except all Mondays

 

Entry Fees: Free

 

Best time to Visit: Between October to March
