Hemis is the biggest monastery in Ladakh. People visit it from all over the world.

7. Nubra Valley

8.  Spituk Gompa

Another monastery is the Spituk Monastery located at the top of a hill. The nearby mountains are pretty tall but the view from this one is breath taking. You mustn’t miss this one!

9.  Namgyala Monastery

This one’s famous for the huge Buddha statue it hosts. If you’re fond of Buddhism, you’ll surely love this place. It has previously been visited by the Dalai Lama as well.

10. Suru Valley

Ladakh has a lot of adventurous experiences to offer. You can do all sorts of mountainous sports here. Suru Valley allows you to have an amazing trekking experience in an immensely enchanting location. It is also one of the hardest trekking spots here so only experienced trekkers are allowed to trek in this region.
