Junagarh Fort Bikaner – Timings, Entrance Fees, Architecture & Palaces


Originally, known as Chintamani, Junagarh Fort Bikaner is a famous tourist attraction in the city of Bikaner, Rajasthan.


However, the fort was built under the great supervision of Karan Chand, the Prime Minister of Raja Rai Singh. Additionally, it is located in the arid region of the Thar Desert.


Moreover, this fort is made of red sandstone and marble. In addition, it has some of the most beautiful and picturesque windows, balconies and courtyards. Also, the fort consists of many stunning palaces, pavilions and temples of Hindu and Jain religion whose architecture is something that you cannot miss.

Also, the fort houses a museum called the Junagarh Fort Museum. Surprisingly, it exhibits Sanskrit and Persian manuscripts, miniature paintings, jewels, royal costumes etc.

  • 50 per person for Indians
  • 300 per person for Foreigners
  • 30 per person for Indian students
  • 150 per person for foreigner students
