The amenities that you get on the cruise are spectacular. Moreover, it has beautiful standard and suite rooms to get a comfortable sleep. The cruise has bars, a swimming pool, a dining hall, and special belly dancing shows while you enjoy your delicious food. All meals and three nights’ accommodation were included.

My tour began from Aswan. I was super excited for this journey! Nile Cruise Aswan to Luxor does not sail on the first day itself. We began with the city tour of Aswan which includes the beautiful Philae Temple and the Aswan High Dam. Also, we had an option to visit the Nubian Village so we did. It was a life changing experience. Moreover, we got the opportunity to experience Nubian hospitality. A crazy shopper as I am, I bought music CDs, jewellery and some local spices of the country.

I soak every single sight and moments of the city into my heart. After that I went back to the cruise and headed straight to the swimming pool to relax for the next one hour.

OPTIONAL TOURS:  Nubian Village, a hot-air balloon flight over Luxor and Edfu sound and light show.

At the dining table, my friend and I hung out with some amazing people from China and Malaysia. They told us how they get to know about this cruise in Egypt through their friend and planned their trip all the way from China. The interaction with other travelers and tourists is one of the most wonderful things one could practice!

At day 2 of our cruise, the sailing began at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

NOTE:  The cruise does not sail at night-time. It takes a stopover at night on specific destinations and sail at day-time.

The cool breeze at night-time just takes away all the tiredness of the entire day. In fact, a drink at the bar and one hour session at the swimming pool were all that you need after a tiresome day!

Enroute to Luxor, we visited some of the ancient sights of the country including the beautiful temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu. On our way to Luxor we had to get through the Esna lock. Also, when we entered the lock, the gate behind us was shut. Seeing the high water level going down for our cruise to pass under the bridge was amazing. It is a thing that no one should miss being on the cruise!

After we arrived at the city of Luxor, we begin to explore the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut along with Valley of the Kings.

Did You Know?  The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut is one of the incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt.

We ended our last day of journey with some amazing food at the Luxor city and shopping at local market. We bought souvenirs! Like I told you that I am a shopping addict, I went crazy and bought 7 bottles of perfume in Aswan and a beautiful sheet of painting in Luxor. You will definitely cherish them forever. I did!

TOURIST TIP: If you are a liquor lover, then it will be shocking for you to hear that the liquor at the cruise is way expensive (4 x times). So you can take your own liquor but make sure you are not consuming it at the bar or on-deck.

My journey on the Nile Cruise Aswan to Luxor was a lifetime experience. Moreover, all the beautiful moments on this cruise whether it is swimming in the pool, dancing on the live music, eating delicious Chinese and Japanese cuisines, or interacting with other tourists. In my opinion, this is something everyone should explore once in their lifetime. And I am sure, next time I will be reading one of your journey experiences and smiling while reading.

“I am that person who dropped her B.Tech (really!) and chose to travel, specifically travel blogging. I’m Manmeet Kaur, a crazy, fun loving and adventurous person from Delhi. I knew I had an interest in writing since I was in school. I didn’t want to be an engineer, doctor or I would say a teacher. My plans were different. I wanted to travel which I guess no one,  specially girl had chosen to do in my family for a living. And like other human beings on this planet I have big dreams too. But my ultimate dream is to travel the world and share my experiences through writing and blogging.” 🙂
