The first thing that comes to mind right after Graduation Day is a trip to Goa with friends. Right? Goan beaches need no introduction. Also, this tourist destination is replete with foreign nationals almost the entire year!

 

Moreover, its beaches attract tourists from all over the world. In addition, the serene beaches and rave parties are the primary reasons why Goa is famous.

1. Baga Beach

Located 19 kms north of Panaji, Baga is the most famous of all the beaches in Goa. Moreover, it is filled with sun beds and umbrellas where tourists like to bathe under the sun.

 

Also, there are numerous luxurious hotels and resorts here which are thronged by tourists from all over the world. Baga Beach is also famous for its awesome parties.

Mandrem offers one of the most serene beaches in Asia. It is extremely beautiful and hence very famous among tourists. Mandrem is my favourite beach because of its tranquil scenery.

 

In fact, it is still a bit unexplored because it is secluded and not many tourists visit this beach. So, if you want to chill somewhere away from the crowd, Mandrem is where you should go!

3. Arambol Beach

Situated between two cliffs, it is a secluded beach which can be reached by road rowed by cashew trees on both sides. It is a traditional fishermen village which gives it a bohemian feel.

 

Moreover, the best thing about Arambol Beach is that it is a family beach and it is completely safe for kids.

4. Anjuna Beach

Anjuna Beach is another famous beach among the tourists. The night parties and eating joints are the main attractions here. Curlies is one famous eating joint you mustn’t miss when in Goa.

 

Also, enjoy authentic sea food with a chilled beer in your hand surrounded by good music. AH! Doesn’t it sound relaxing?

5. Calangute Beach

One reason Calangute Beach is famous is that back in the 60s The Beatles used to come here to spend their holiday here. Amazing isn’t it? It is famous for its restaurants and night clubs which are undoubtedly one of the best!

6. Colva Beach

Extremely beautiful, Colva is the oldest beach of Goa. It is usually less crowded than Calangute and Anjuna and has gained popularity only recently. Lined by coconut trees and filled with white sand, you can just sit and take in the tranquil scenery of the beach.
