2. Agra fort

Agra Fort also known as the ‘Red Fort’ of is located near the gardens of Taj Mahal. It is among the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Mughal Emperor Akbar the Great built this important monument.

4. Tomb of Itimad-ud-daulah

Believe me or not, this was the first ever structure built with white marble instead of red sandstone from Mughal architecture.

What to Expect? / Tips

• You must visit Agra city in the winter months as the weather is very pleasant.
• Please buy tickets at the counter or you can ask your guide to book them for you.
• Do not show too much skin, as India is a very conservative country.
• Do not enter with footwear inside the Taj Mahal, wear a fabric given by the official inside.
• Photography inside the Taj is prohibited, so do not take your camera inside.
• Be careful of the vendors outside the Taj mahal, they will try to sell fake marble products and charge you way much.
